Flamers are meh because of only 8" range, and
D6 shots for 14 pts. What if you roll a 1 ? A
SB is better for horde clearing, with the new beta bolter rule its 4 shots at 24" on the
DC dread. Melta is meh too, plasma is the weapon of choice, but you cant use that on a
DC dread. With melta you need to be within 6" to get the
2D6, discard lowest dice advantage. And its only 1 shot. Melta is anti armor, its not a screen killer. You can go with 2 flamers for screen clearing, but its expensive. I would also suggest a magna grapple.

Yes, boltgun and chainsword is fine. It doesnt hurt to add a
TH,
PF, or some inferno pistols for high toughness targets. Dont shoot what you want to charge, otherwise your opponent might remove those models closest to your
DC, making your charge longer.
