Hi all,

I'm looking to make some Blood Raven transfers, found a great decal sheet template and have access to a laser printer but I am unsure what type of water transfer paper to get (preferably something easy to put into a shoulder pad).

Anyone got any suggestions / done it in the past?

Decal paper comes in 4 kinds.

For inkjet and laser, in white and in clear.

So you have a laser printer, you're probably going to need the white one (it will make the red show more vividly).

As for making it fit onto a pauldron, that usually also comes down to decal solvent and fixative in addition to everything else. Like micro-sol/micro-set.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Thing to note is regardless of your medium (white, clear) your printer prints assuming it's going onto white paper. This means the colour printed is done without any white, so you need to have either white decal paper (as Chrome suggests) or use clear and paint white behind it.

Thanks guys. For blood ravens I anticipate using clear as the logo is black and red with no white to worry about.

Is there any decal paper which is simple like the GW ones to use rather than a load of additional chemicals?

The gw ones should also be using those over chemicals. They help make sure the surface is perfectly smooth so you dont get air bubbles.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
