I am having a problem removing, harden green stuff from, resin Shoulder pads, which am trying to save.

What I have tried, so far is the following: Dremel, sculpting tool, hobby knife.

I am thinking about putting the parts, in the freezer and hoping that the, green stuff will go brittle and just break up easier.

Is there a even easier, way to remove harden green stuff from resin ?

I don't think that's greenstuff you're dealing with if all those tools didn't work yet...

As long as you didn't mix/apply plastic glue, greenstuff should just pop off if you apply some leverage with a xacto. Do you have a picture you can share?

Yes no super glue or plastic glue was not used, only green stuff, which has gone hard, it does break but very slowly.

The stuff I used is green stuff, it is just a different color, just can't remember what proper name for green stuff is.

Soak in rubbing alcohol. Turns Greensburg to rubber.

Doesnt alcohol also soften resin, though?

Milliput and GreenStuff are two very different entities.

definitely not GS, but doesnt look like milliput to m. I'm aware there are different colours. even so, you should've been able to scrape that away with a knife if it was milliput.

I wonder what doing a QUICK!!! drop in acetone would do? I mean i havn't tested out how long it takes for the plastic to get effected, but maybe it takes a while? and perhaps it would help i don't know.

I drop resin in acetone for a couple mins and whip it out - strips the paint right off without damaging the resin. This is for Raging Heroes' resin, though. Haven't tried it with ForgeWorld or FailCast.

Really should have trried that before spending hours stripping heaps of models with iso alcohol. I am assuming you're not talking about GW plastic here?, like fail cast doesn't mean GW plastic does it?

No, resin is separate from plastic. Failcast means 'finecast', which is a kind of resin.

Although I can't speak for what acetone does to plastic from experience, I believe it will melt it.

Acetone will melt plastics and every resin you can think of. Purple Power or Superclean will usually loosen Kneadatite enough to remove it. Simple Green sometimes works, but it’s a bit hit and miss.
