Subject: Oh, it’s a fight is it? The finest scenes of fisticuffs.
Dakka, I’m going through a not great period in life. And I could do with distraction and cheering up.
So I ask you to share, via the joy of Youtube clips, your favourite scenes of rough housing, horse play, hoofing, knacking, chinning, braying and generally in gentlemanly combat.
Could be super serious and impressive martial arts scene. Could be something Just Bloody Stupid. Could even be the besterest fight scene evar, as scene in The Live!
C’mon Dakka. Don’t let a brother down.

That fight scene where Jacky Chan fights a bunch of dudes with a ladder.
Or that fight scene in which Jacky Chan jumps in a furnace while fighting the main bad guys.
Or that fight scene where Jacky Chan...well feth this. Let's just place half of Jacky Chan filmography and call it a day.

Btw, it's a chick, not a dude in a penguin suit. Nice one, but honorable mention to this glorious moment off, err I think it was supposed to be acting. The fight and the entire movie is just as ridiculous.

1. The fight scene in Saving Private Ryan. Brutal and real.
2. The fight scene in Lion in Winter. Daggers in a doorway.
3. Intro fight scene in Blade.
4. The Creed / Balboa fight in Rocky.

The one that springs to mind right now is the fight in the bathroom in Tunisia in the third (?) Bourne film, but the one in Paris in the first film would do, too.

As a palate refresher, the scene in Endeavour where Detective Chief Inspector Fred Thursday confronts a pair of crooked London cops who have beaten up his bag man Morse, and says, "Are you going to tell me what's going on, or do I have to take my hat off?.
In the next shot, DCI Thursday rubs his hands and gives a knuckleduster to Morse, saying it may come in useful some time.
According to TV Tropes, it's a "Non-view to a Kill".

Two guys who have absolutely no idea how to fight flailing vaguely at each other while someone comes in shouting "Fight! It's a REAL FIGHT!" and everyone in the restauraunt comes out to watch.
Admittedly, it's not 'spectacular' but it's hilarious and seems extrordinarily realistic.

Unexpected mention, but yes. It's hysterical. And I'm pretty sure the guy who calls the whole restaurant out to watch is Dr Baltar.
Edit - Fairly hilarious to compare this Colin Firth fight with the Kingsman one lol

The saloon brawl in Jackie Chan's Shanghai Noon is really really good and is all one take if I remember correctly.
The last fight scene in last of the mohecians is still one of the most stylish and yet pretty brutal I can think of. Also set to an amazing score which that ties it all together.
Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

Virtually all the fights in pretty much every Bud Spencer/Terence Hill movie. The beefy punch sounds, the signature moves. Sure, absolutely not to be taken seriously, but I still enjoy them immensly.
Though, for the record: I am not surd how good they hold up in any language but german. Afaik, thr german synchronisation added quite a bit of dialogue.

Bone crunching ridiculous slapstick, guaranteed to raise a smile. Well, for me anyway. Ditto Vyv and Rik.
Bud spencer + Terence Hill movies?
