Adepticon is looming next week. With the CSM update seemingly finished, what do you think we're going to see?

I reckon we'll have a major AOS reveal and possibly more information on Sisters, as well as a ton of info on the boxed games due to be released.

Hopefully WE and/or EC codex.

I feel pretty confident in saying that we'll see a reveal of an updated Marines codex and the Vanguard stuff to go with it.
I also think they might be announcing that they're going to do like they're doing for AoS, updating the early run of books to bring them in line with the more current stuff.

Potentially another expansion for Blackstone Fortress.

The "Forbidden Power" expansion for AoS.
Kharadron Overlords warband for Underworlds.
Warcry is a maybe.

Rest of the new Chamber of Primaris.

Some stuff on the forthcoming AoS expansion book story thing.

Glimpses of the future of Adeptus Titanicus.

You mean full kits of Infiltrators, Eliminators, and Suppressors? I could see that, for sure. Probably to go with Codex Space Marines: Updated Edition.

I reckon it’ll be those, plus some Grav Tank (Rumour Engine ha offered a couple of snippets I feel fit the bill), plus alternate weapons for the dudes from Shadowspear.

My hopes and dreams? Lost and the Damned, the announcement of their codex, or even just a single multi pose traitor guard kit, something.

Realistically? A new marine book.

I expect the 40K announcement to be fairly underwhelming (in light of recent releases) and most of the focus will be on AoS and boxed games.

I would expect to see something from either

a) One the "new" AoS armies to come that GW hinted about.

b) The Slaanesh release details with new greater demon model and others.

Those would, I think, be the two biggest things for central AoS. There's also a chance that it might focus on Warcry more so and there's also the other expansion that they've hinted at for the main game.



For 40K my gut feeling is that the next big update for them is either Sisters of Battle or Eldar and we know the former is coming later; but its a little too close to the Chaos release that's just happening right now for Eldar. So I figure it might be a little more muted a day for 40K; which would work well as 40K had a smashing 2018 of major releases and events so AoS taking more of a lime light this year works well.



I would also expect to see at least two or three AoS update Battletomes announced as well. We just got Khorne so right now there's nothing official on radar for Battletomes (save hints at the new army and more Slaanesh stuff). There's a wealth of choices for updated armies as well as new Battletomes for armies that don't yet have them, but which might not be huge model releases.

From AoS I'm expecting and hoping for Darkoaths, and more warcry info.

For 40K it seems too hot on tje heels of the black legion either WE, or EC. If there is a book announcement its probably (like mentioned before) an updated Astartes codex.

But fingers are crossed for traitor or loyalist guard.

I'm hopeful the next Necromunda gamg will be revealed, and it will he the enforcers.

I'm dejected thay there is no possibility of a lizardman bb team reveal.

They will probably show off tue next shadespire team.

I expect more of Primaris wave 2, what exactly I have no idea.

Expecting AoS, but hoping for just one 40K codex, Imperial Agents. They are still index and do not include rogue traders despite there having been 2 released in boxed games and a third coming soon. Inquisition needs some love too.

Ynnari codex maybe.

My bet is that we'll get a wave of AoS stuff now since 40k has gotten a lot of heavy stuff lately.

I'd hope they'd do Eldar Craftworlds before Ynnari or at the same time since Ynnari is basically a sort of meld of current eldar armies or a subfaction army. It would be near criminal if Ynnari got a release which was book and still had to use all the old craftworld stuff; OR got a release that was all new models without Craftworlds getting a look in.

You mean like the additional gangs and other factions that GW has teased info on more than once? As well as the potential to flesh out gangs further (actual juve models) as well as the potential to even go further and create the Mad Max style game that was envisioned and based off Necromunda outside of the Hive cities, that originally never came to be (or if it did it never got far)

The Ash Wastes expansion totally got done in Necromunda magazine and further along in Fanatic. Then Fanatic died after 10 issues...

The “Palantine Enforcer” faction has yet to come out, and they were bamed dropped and said to be strictly distinct from gue Adeptus Arbites early on after the initial release. (It was also made clear the Arbites wouldn't be in Necromunda, while the enforcers would.)

That was not the indication from the last seminars for Necromunda. They teased a lot of concepts, and I can see them continuing to release one plastic kit per quarter (even if its not a new gang and something like the ambot/brutes/juve sprues).

The next Games Workshop release after Adepticon (and thus the new chaos stuff has come out) will be something for Age of Sigmar, or expansion for one their other games. Frankly, doesn't matter to much to me, since I don't play those games.

Slaanesh release, Fulgrim, Angron, Warcry. I don’t care about anything else. Any of those, and I’ll be happy. If they don’t make an appearance, my wallet is safe.

I really doubt they'll do more SoB / 40k and I assume something new with AoS
