Hello all, I'm currently trying to follow a tutorial for painting my Hellhound tank! However the tutorial uses the Minitaire range of paints, and currently I only have Citadel and Vallejo, hopefully it will be possible to convert the Minitaire range to the range that I have with some help!

I'm hoping that one of you will be able to help me convert the following colours to either Vallejo or Citadel range, the paints that I need to convert are the following:

Minitaire - Charred Stone
Minitaire - Concrete Slab
Minitaire - Cracked Soil

Thanks for any help in advance!

Doesn't look like they have the conversions for the Minitaire range, thanks for the reply none the less!

Well according to PaintRack (which is not 100% accurate):

Charred Stone is close to VMC German Camo Brown Black

Concrete Slab is near VMC Pale Grey Blue

Cracked Soil is a tough one, looks like Panzer Aces German White Tank Crew is all that is close.

None of the Citadel colors even look close, but closest would seem to be: Charred Stone to Skavenblight Dinge, Concrete Slab to Celstra Grey, Cracked Soil to Ionrach Skin.

Like I said though, I know for a fact that the color information in PaintRack is not exact, so all I could say is that these might be somewhat close.

@H Thanks for the reply!

That's brilliant help thank you Sir!

I've compared the VMC German Camo Brown Black to the Video and it seems pretty far off. The VMC Pale Grey Blue seems pretty accurate, and the Panzer Aces German White Tank Crew seems slightly off too! I might have to try to substitute the paints used in the tutorial for some that look visually similar within my Vallejo range.

Once again thanks for the responses everyone!
