The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?
When the history of my glory is written, your species shall only be a footnote to my magnificence.

It appears I cant have it at an acute or obtuse angle without changing wrist/fingers position.
Dont get me wrong I really like the rotating top piece design! Very good that.
This is the idea of the 360° vertically and horizontally,to keep your hand as little stressed as possible. Why rotating your hand all the time when you can only rotate your mini and keep it easy and simple by going to your wanted spot in just a blink?!
I am not getting you wrong, I like hearing opinions and chat on this subject. Any question is more than welcome, thank you!

I think the point he is making is that you would have to twist your wrist to get say a 45 degree angle if you want the model in a different position from right side up or upside down. not about the model being rotated 360 on the plinth.
Its definitely a neat idea, different from most handles.
My biggest complain about this design is that top/down swivel point is so far under the mini... When gripping base directly I can still use two free fingers of my mini gripping hand as resting points for the brush hand for precision work. In design above mini in downward position is so low, that I'm left only with floating brush hand or with awkward angles and resting brush hand on palm of mini hand or something similarly unnatural for me. I don't thnk that I would use the upside down position at all. For me, the black part should be designed in a way that holds the orange ring between index finger and thumb in both upward and downward positions.

As I am currently trying to stick the next round of guys to some old film canisters for painting, I cracked and backed it. Not sure if it will make its goal, but it's pretty close.
Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
I thought it might stumble.at the end there, but the good old.last 3.days epic ramp.up has saved the day. Is it worth it? Who knows, but it's a pretty cheap.widget to experiment with and it involves magnets, which are fundamentally magical

Was just curious if the final product is going to be 3D printed, as looks to be the case? That's actually probably a lot safer than translating it to a molded product, but just didn't see where this was explained.

It was likely 3D printed to test out and display. I expect the final product will be mold-injected.
