What conversions do you think would need to take place to make this passable?

I'm not really looking to join any serious tournaments, just casual store games.

Load out for the Russ would most likely be Plasma Cannon, heavy bolter and stubber.

Would WYSIWG be okay? I'm unfamiliar with the size differences.

Thanks so much!

I’m not super familiar with the dunecrawler model... but having 5 (!) guns bolted to a walker will look strange.

Main Cannon, sponsons, the hull mount and then a stubber too? No matter what, it’s going to look like a pile of guns with legs.

If that’s what you’re after, then that’s cool but if not I don’t know how you’d avoid that.

No sponsors just the main cannon, hull mount and stubber. I'm just trying to avoid any modelling for advantage claims!

Ahh... Executioner with HB and Stubber.

The Executioner Cannon is a very large Plasma Cannon represented in the rules as equivalent to a triple plasmacannon.

So a good “wysiwyg” starting point would either be the Ex Cannon itself, or Three linked PC. You might be able to source several Russ sponson Plasma Cannons, that you could cut the “sockets” off of, and make a Hurricane Bolter inspired “arm” for the Crawler. If there’s an appropriate flat hull space, you could probably cut the socket off of a Russ HB as well, to attach at that point. From there, stick a Stubber most anywhere.

The crawler, based on pictures, looks like a reasonable size comparison. Might be a bit taller but that tends to be more of a hindrance than help in 8th. I think it would be a reasonable counts-as.

I bulked up an onager with an additional bit of chassis from a defiler to make a cargo crawler thingy for use as Necromunda terrain. You could do something similar to add space for additional weapon systems.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
