so, this is my first time posting here in a long time, but I've been collecting Word Bearers for a few years. however, about a year in, I decided I reeally liked the iron warriors. but I thought it would be better to have one large army, rather than a couple small ones so I continued WB, however with a bit of a bias...
anyway, that led me to making this list for my next event! what do you guys think?

Question is... will it work ok? or just crumble, this is the first official event I'm going to, normally I just play Apoc with my friends

It's a pretty skew-y list; 15 anti-HI Large Blasts will be nasty if you face off against a Legionnaire-spam list, but flare shields, good cover, aircraft, and Thanatars will just shrug the weight of fire off. Auxilia Enginseers, heavy weapon squads, laser-destroyer Rapiers, or similar anti-armour should give you the flexibility to fight more kinds of lists.

The Leadership of Inducted Levies is not something to take for granted. Discipline Masters and Discipline Collars are really useful tools.

Psykers in 30k become great when you take a bunch of them to feed you extra cast dice. If you can find the points for another it'll give you more chances to roll the power you want/more chances to cast it when you do.

yeah, aircraft are definitely a problem, I think that's what made this kind of force redundant IRL too.
but I don't think flare shields protect against artillery, do they? as the flare shield works against attacks on the front armour, and barrage always hits the side amour?

I suppose to get points I could switch out the breaches for a Tac squad, or cut the grenadiers, and put in some Discipline Masters
