New company, no previous work, renders have extremely shallow detail.

Hard pass.

being that it is 1) Dinosaurs, 2) Jurassic park and 3)BDH and CP...but also 4)Dinosaurs, I may not be able to resist this

Really sketchy. Half of the websites in their KS profile are sketchy at best.....if you can connect to them.
First created zero backed not a single prototype or even 3D print. This looks to be a scam at worst and a money pit at best.

I'd warn anyone away from this project due to the red flags. Backers beware on this one.

I could be wrong. But this project has all the tell tale signs of a scam.

Agreed.

Trying to produce PVC minis for the first time, run a Ks for the first time, massive IP that looks to be tracking for big money, mixed messages about what the game is, and based in France so potentially a language barrier for many backer communications.

Even this is genuine, it's a huge disaster waiting to happen.

Oh, and congrats to the OP for creating an opening post about 4 characters beyond being auto deleted for spam. Pics wouldn't hurt, some people might not be willing or able to click through.

Watched one of the attached Youtube videos on the KS, it sounds like it will be a fun game.

However, I've been too well burned to back a KS for a company's first attempt - will certainly look for it in stores, if it ever makes it.

Wow I never even thought about a Jurassic Park miniatures game, imagine building armies of laser dinosaurs and duking it out on the red plains of Mars!

Your game concept sounds far more entertaining than this.

Too many red flags for me as well, and I'm usually pretty lenient on newcomers to the Kickstarter game.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

That's a massive red flag right there; I can't see the JP licence company being super eager to hire a brand new company based off just a KS that can't even deliver without their approval. A neat clause for "We did our best but we spent all the money and then jp didn't give us the licence so we have to close - sorry"

There's no shortage of modern miniatures, dinosaur miniatures, model kits and toys, and rulesets (often free ones) that you can use if you want. The only actual Jurassic World IP this game offers is the logo and possibly image rights if you must have a mini that looks like Chris Pratt.

As a big fan, wow, just so much through that KS that just didn't hit the right notes. I felt like it was going through the motions, and didn't feel like it was creating anything of survival adventure/parables I enjoyed.

The whole thing just looked like some sort of generic combat reskin.

Also, what bad writing. From skimming: it's "pragmatist" if it's a noun; don't just call someone a "pragmatic." And, "Last but not the least"? What the hell is that? Because it's certainly not a set phrase in English.

Poor faith to the original, bland aesthetic, bland concept, weak designs, no history, uninspired marketing, and poor grasp of English (meaning probably no editor, which will likely also be reflected in the rules)? No thanks.

Odd they don't show prototypes. Their social media accounts are filled with them and apparently they've been doing lots of streams showing off the game over the past few months.

Why this isn't on the KS page, where they're asking folks for money, is beyond me.
Some proof of concept aside from a bunch of renders goes a long way.

Tell me again, Why does this game need a Kickstarter? secondly, You have minis, but don't want to show them, yet want to pull a Monty Haul....

HARD PASS! Anyone who funds this is throwing money away. You'll never see all of that stuff.

Looks like they show the prototype models off to me, got some of the models in this:

Also, I'd figured the "Subject to Licensor Approval" was the equivalent of "Pictures of product may change from actual models", meaning the owners of JP may ask for tweaks to the model?

Not that I'm trying to push for anyone to back this (there are several red flags), but just to give them a fair shake.

Licensor Approval can effect everything about the game from figure design, storyline, characters than can/cannot be used, wear can happen in the game, artwork on everything, how stuff is worded etc

It partly led to the disaster AvP became on Kickstarter.

A gigantic - as in you are a moron if you back this - flag is the lack of retail plans. Short of raising millions, you use KS for a game of this type to get the product made, breaking even or taking a minor loss, so you can then go to retail and actually make money.

Their timeline is well off. Bland flat renders to backers hands in under a year? It's doable but unlikely.

The content - a neoprene mat in the box? - and SG seems to make no financial sense as the gate/jeep are big chunks of plastic adding shipping weight and cost.

Translation issues on the page, let alone the rules and when dealing with Universal, bode ill.

Even the Hammond figure could be an issue as could the likenesses of Claire/Owen as they are the actors. Claire and Owen could be part of whatever deal they have but odds are you'd need seperate permission from the actors estate to use Hammond.

This is like a worse version of Warner letting .Knight do Harry Potter. Mantic would have done a stellar job of this and delivered.

There are flags, but I dont think they made this game without the licenses like some people said.
Granted, this isnt out of the realm for Universal, they approached Frontier, a good but unknown studio for their latest game, so i bet they approached these buys too.
