Well, after a 2 year break and plastic sickness im back.
Well i will cut a long story short, i was painting bad moonz, and i acquired £600 worth of orks, it physically stopped me painting i would look at my huge box of plastic and thats all i could see .... plastic.
It completely killed my passion for the hobby, i started power gaming with my swarm of unpainted plastic, which further killed the hobby, i had no respect for my unpainted models the only objective was to win.
Any way.
I stopped.
Until now, so im watching the television about world war 2, recoulerd i really enjoyed it and i noticed how good the german uniform was, it looked way cooler then britains, so i went to bed, woke up hopped in my car went to work.
It was a normal day like any other, im welding away and i remember the documentry i had seen the night before, i shouted to dave "have you seen this documentry"
After about 20 mins he told me in hushed tones he had painted a tiger tank, i was blown away that i had met another hobbyist, we basically got no work done that day.
A few days went by with constant chit chat about pur hobby, and jokingly i said ill paint some german orks, he encouraged me, so .... with my new found enthusiasm i bolted out of work, i had not been this excited for years, i flew to my hobby shop and picked me up some german paints and a few bits and bobs, and i blasted this battle wagon out, i loved every minute of it, and now a had a work colleague to show it off too.
I cranked it out in 1 evening im a tad rusty but this is my results, also this 1 model has inspired me to start a guard army.
I bought some guardsmen and anvil conversion heads with the stahl helmets but thats for another thread, im going to make a painting blog for them.
