Thought I'd try a quick build over the weekend, utilising a coffee tin which has the shape of a power station cooling tower.

Boshed it onto a simple base building, added nail decorations to the tower for lights.

Put a pile of greeblies on it. This is one of the exceptionally handy things about having casting kit, I can make as many greeblies as I want.

Got it primed, having masked the "lights" with masking fluid. Was hoping to get it finished in one w/e but having to wait for two lots of filling putty to cure slowed it down too much.

Now thinking about doing some better filling to tidy it up a bit, and painting it next w/e...

Thanks...

I'd be the first to admit I've got carried away with this "quick-single-weekend-build". I liked it so far but thought with the chimney that big the building was a bit too small to be a power station or atmosphere processor. So I've added another floor, and magnetised it so the chimney section stays in place...

Lovely work.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

That's excellent, sometimes in the store I look at containers and wonder what they could be on the table.

My domestic goddess picked this up for me and came home with the words "I've bought a tin of coffee and you'll really like the tin..." I am a lucky man.

Finally had a chance to do some more on this...

There's two big exhausts to go on the blank space bottom right, but they need to be primed before being attached.

Similarly, there's a landing pad to go on the bottom right, but that needs a fair bit of painting before attaching, it'd be a nightmare to do when it's on.
