Rules: You must create a new Primaris unit of any type, and describe that unit.

Your primaris unit must:

-Have a Copyrightastic (tm) name to entergage new paradigms of Games Workshop PLC Consumer Demographics. the name must start with the letters "In" and must include some form of etymological root, though we have somewhat run out of latinate names so if you speak a non-latinate language and there's a funny word you think could make some goofy spess mehrines please, lay it on us.

-Serve, and this part is important, absolutely NO coherent battlefield role in the game of Warhammer 40,000. You must have melee special rules on your longrange shooting unit, deep strike on your stationary artillery unit, long range and short range weapons together on the same platform and most importantly, one or more randomly allocated stubbers or rocket packs.

-Some kind of hackneyed fluff justification for why they exist and what they supposedly do.

Incessantors.

They never stop. They have a 2" range S8 D5 Stubber pistol 2 that can target a character even if it isn't the closest model.

They have Mark X Super Gravis Armor. Move 3" T6, 2+ save 4W but no Deep Strike. They also halve all Advance and Charge Rolls.

Edit to correct Sniper to Stubber.

Primaris Interlopers:

The Primaris Interloper of the Adeptus Astartes are grizzled veterans who always know exactly where the enemy least wants them to be, and always find a way to get there. The role of a Primaris Interloper is to scout ahead of the main force of a Primaris Space Marine detachment, and seek out and mark the best locations for choke points, charges, kill zones, drop points, and so on, and to mark these locations via heavy use of their Interloper Heavy Stubber. The Primaris Interlopers are excellent at close combat, which is why the Interloper Heavy Stubber is reinforced, so that they may be used as makeshift clubs to face whatever heretic or vile xenos comes their way.

In terms of rules, the Primaris Interloper is armed with one [1] Primaris Interloper Heavy Stubber, which is identical to a standard heavy stubber in all ways, except that it also grants a melee attack. For some reason, when used in melee, a wound roll of 6 deals an additional mortal wound to the target unit. For every three models in the unit, a single Primaris Interloper may take an additional Primaris Interloper Heavy Stubber, which allows the entire unit to reroll 1s in melee. In spite of being a dedicated scout unit, the Primaris Interloper has no natural form of deep strike or infiltration.

They are psyker adepts who are to cool for psycher school. They use grav skateboards giving a M14 and only know a baby smite for 1 mortal wound. They only come in groups of 3 and are dressed in phobos armour 3+sv. They are armed with twin onslaught gatling cannons with foorce stave bayonetts. This provides mortal wounds in melee and s+2 d2 ap-1

Brutal, but kunning!

They are the assault units you've been waiting for. They have grav floaty feet. Also they can drop from deepstrike. They have a massive weapon they can use in CC. It's a gun, but who cares. They look awesome. Also, actually let's redact their name and call them suppressors instead.

Primaris Infenestrators

A new brand of long-range Primaris terror troops equipped with Belisarius Cawl's latest weapon: The Warp-Window Projector! The Warp Window Projector is based, some whispered rumors indicate, off of heretical stolen xenotech. The rotating arms of the cannon spin rapidly, creating a crackling energy in front of the user that then opens the barrier between the warp and realspace in front of their target.

Under normal circumstances, the very sight of the warp through the window causes terror amongst enemy troops, but rarely gibbering daemons will even grasp enemy units and pull them through in a gory display.

Primaris Infenestrators are also equipped with a crotch-mounted heavy stubber to deter enemy close combat units. This secondary weapon system is fired using an atrophied, vestigial soft tissue organ sometimes still attached to a Primaris Space Marine after application of the Rubicon Primaris that Techpriests decided to make use of.

Primaris Tresspassors

Infiltration unit that cannot be targeted by any means unless they fired their silenced boltguns or threw a silenced frag/krak grenade in the previous shooting phase or are within 6" of the enemy unit.
For every 5 models in a unit, one Tresspassor can take one:
- Silenced Corner-shot Boltgun; Allows him to target an enemy unit that is not visible.
- Silenced Flashbang grenade; Test on the initiative, if unit failed that roll, it has -1BS/SW for the following turn. One use only.
- Megaphone; Use in close combat, deafens the enemy, lowering their leadership by 2. Once megaphone is used, the unit can be targeted as normal.

Primaris invalidators:

Standard primaris stat line, armed with invalidator bolt pistols (same stat line, but with a chainsaw bayonet) and power fists. One model per five may take any number of invalidator primaristubbers (heavy stubber with 1" less range) at -1 points each (yes, that's a negative point cost). If any friendly models without the PRIMARIS and ULTRAMARINES keywords are on the table remove this unit as casualties.

PS: the heavy stubber option is one per box.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

unit is held in micro reserves having been shrunk and stowed away on the enemy's gear. Unit may active their inbigginator on turn 2 or 3 materialising within a unit. they now count as being in close combat with the unit.

The innerintrainstigators instigate combats with knowledge learned about that squad convincing them to strike against each other after the airing of grievances.

once the targeted unit has been eliminated the innerintrainstigators are removed from the board and may be deployed on a new unit (thus making thier sniper rifles literally useless which of coarse should be included in thier model points cost as wargear because... GeeDubYa

I'm from the future. The future of space

I just want a primaris tactical squad with a veteran sergeant with weapon options, one guy with a special weapon and one guy with a heavy weapon.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Primaris Infuriatiors

Released by forgeworld as a dozen different kits, none of which give the right bits equip a single sensibly armed squad, and which collectively push back all other non-marine releases by at least two years.

No final rules ever materialize, and the range is discontinued piecemeal and without warning. Despite all logic they are added in 30k, but only with word bearers iconography.

Primaris Investors

New support character unit for Primaris Marines. Primaris Investors represent the ultimate adaptability of the new Primaris Space Marines - they are equipped with nothing but unloaded heavy stubbers (as such they cannot shoot) but they can fire Emergency Stubflares to alert Games Workshop that a player using a Primaris Marine army has encountered a threat they cannot deal with.

They grant the following special ability:

Investor Flare Guns: The player fielding a unit of Primaris Investors may contact Games Workshop PLC by calling the toll free phone number 1-800-PRIMARIS. They should then inform Games Workshop of any particular game threat they are facing at the beginning of any enemy game turn and wire 100,000 pounds sterling. By the end of the game turn or after 6 months pass (Whatever comes first) Games Workshop will deliver a resin-cast prototype of a new Primaris Marine unit to the player with a new hardcover edition of Codex Space Marines with rules that will defeat the threat the player is facing.

Glorium Dreadnaughts

a 6-model unit of legless 'classic' veteran marines mounted rear-facing on a Primaris marine in place of the standard Space Marines backpack. Fills an Elite slot and has an extra d3 bolter shots to any target facing the rear, while only being Rapid Fire 2 to the front. This new rear-facing protection comes at the cost only equipped grenades and -1 leadership (because of the inevitable bickering). Each $60 box comes with free firing arc templates so you can determine which marine can shoot where.

Only +10p investment over intercessors and a 40mm base size!

Primaris Ingestors -
close combat unit, but can't take any good combat weapons. Just armed with a knife, and a fork. They snack on danger and dine on death. They'll munch through their enemies.

Use the Gravis Captain armour with the belly.

Primaris Inceptors, but no- not the one's you're thinking of. (other units share names. IG have Primaris psykers so why not!).

Designed for extreme infiltration into enemy commander's dreams, the Inceptors role is one of subterfuge and infiltration, so naturally they are equipped with Gravis armour and are painted neon yellow regardless of parent chapter.


"You guys are all stupid. See, they're gonna be looking for army guys".

When deployed, with their armament of stub heavy stubbers, (which allows them to fire in HTH) you roll a D6 for every character, on a roll of a 2+ the character has successfully been incepted and falls over to the Primaris cause and is no longer part of your opponent's army (for realsies. With these guy you play for keeps). All keywords change to whatever <CHAPTER> they are from and they gain all the relevant keywords.

Primaris Invictor's These are a veteran Primaris Unit, Equipped with grav armor, and a jet pack ala intercessors. the unit has vetern stats (so +1a and +1 LD vs a normal primaris) the unit is Equipped with A Guardian Spear, or a Power sword and Storm shield. The unit has the same mortal wounds on a charge ability intercessors do.

Primaris Infantiles: Those that the Primaris Rubicon failed on often find themselves with abnormally stubby legs and arms and lacking in physical strength. But faith in the Emperor keeps these brave warriors going and they form together to keep fighting mankind’s foes.
Move 3”, str2, t3, carry regular stubbers. 4 models may work together to carry and operate 1 heavy stubber or missile pod instead of taking their own stubbers. Sgt may purchase a powerfist.

Infantiles are too slow to keep up with the rest of a Marine army so must be purchased with a transporting Repulsor and start the game inside. Infantiles require special seating which counts as 2 spaces per model.

18" range throwing knives (S3 ap0 D1 assault 1)
6" range heavy bolter jackhammer (at ap-1 D2) that can only be fired in melee
Move 4", but standing still, gain +1T
