So i recently got an entire emporers children 30k army for a good deal and am trying to figure how best to run them. Obvious answer is as chaos emporers children but since these are all 30k models i was going to run them as loyalists lost to the warp and now just getting to their destination tonfind out their chapter has turned.

So how would you run them? The army is mostly infantey with 10 las cannons, a large squad of tartarus terms, and fulgrim himself.

I am more looking for fluff ways to run them then anything else. What special rules would loyalist children use?

Loyalists sm 2.0 codex with build a trait should help.
Alternativly the csm dex could stand in, however if infantry centric i would reccomend running them as red Corsairs instead (for that legion horde PA feel.)
Alternativly since perfection is their whole schtick scourged for that obe reroll per squad.

Just play 30k

You can easily run them as both loyalists or traitors in 40k

Since you’ve got Fulgrim, I realize this might sound like its own form of heresy, but just run them as Ultramarines? The chapter looked up to as “the best” currently, and the only one with a living Primarch. That sounds pretty well matched up to me.

I was thinking ultramarines myself honestly, but i don't know how i truly feel about it you know?

If you want to get some use out of your primarch model, then Ultras would make the most sense. They are pretty far from standard legion organisation but you would get to use your big centrepiece.

The other option is CSM, which are closer to legion organisation and you could use Daemon Prince rules for your primarch.
