I have been out of the game for a few years, right before 7th dropped. I have a fully customized IH army where every model has some sort of bionic customization. As there are currently no good options for such that I can find for the Primaris models, my question is how much do they differ in size from the regular marines. Mainly in the arms as I still have a couple of the failcast IH upgrade packs. Are they close enough to swap out or cut up and paste into Primaris model parts without looking too out of place. Any pics of parts side-by-side would be great.

***I have just recently moved and have not been able to get to the "closest" (40min away) FLGS to do this personally.

Looks basically the same. Now, this primaris is one of those snapfits they were giving out at the stores. The real kits might be different.

Edit: As for the legs, you might have to add a little bit of length.

Arms are close enough that they can pass.

Heads and shoulder pads are fully compatible. (well, you still have to watch for clipping on the rims with some pads and arm poses, but that’s a problem with all pads) Terminator pads are for gravis armor (Agressors, inceptors)

That is Super helpful, Thank you! From that pic it looks like the failcast upgrades (or any 3rd party) should work via cut-n-pasting into the primaris models if they don't fit outright. Again, thank you.

Dont worry about it. Giving intercessors random old school pauldrons, pointing hands, etc really livens up the kits and if you have a decent bitsbox you can make the same body look really individual and cool.
