So as the title states I want to make/convert a female archon for my Drukhari. Are there any good ones available or would it be best to just convert one up? (3rd party is fine)

I was thinking of using Morathi's dark elf form with arms swapped out. But $130 for one model is a bit steep...

Going GW, you could probably convert a succubus easily into an Archon, and you could probably use Bitz from the existing archons and warrior kits.

3rd party, check out Artel Ws latest posts In News and Rumors. They just previewed a nice female archon.

Legio Suturvora 2000 points (painted)
30k Word Bearers 2000 points (in progress)
Daemonhunters 1000 points (painted)
Flesh Tearers 2000+ points (painted) - Balt GT '02 52nd; Balt GT '05 16th
Kabal of the Tortured Soul 2000+ points (painted) - Balt GT '08 85th; Mechanicon '09 12th
Greenwing 1000 points (painted) - Adepticon Team Tourny 2013

If you go for 3rd party, do you know Raging Heroes? Basically have all-female Dark Eldars/Elves.

Check out the "Void Elves" minis, like this one could fit an Archon:

Isn’t the major difference the chest plate and head from a Kabalite Warrior?

Thanks guys, I ended up ordering from RH, a buddy of mine reminded me even if I play in GW I need 75% of my army to be their product. I think I'm okay with an archon/incubi squad being 3rd party.

I did pretty much this. Rest of the conversion on this job was quite simple:

is it realy only 75% of your army or is it on a model basis, so each model needs to be atleast 75% gw

I've seen some great conversions using the GSC Magus as a base.

That depends entirely on the store/event - some are more strict. Wahammer World & Warhammer Citadel are both "must be 100% Citadel or Forge World miniatures", for example.
