I hope it is going to be a better version of 8th ed. warhammer fantasy. Something like 9th age.

Maybe they suddenly realised that throwing away 20 years of lore was a bad move.

I posted on Facebook something akin to this analogy: GW is at this point a bit like an abusive spouse. Use you, then beat you down, until you return again and again. I won't put a penny into this. I'm sure people will enjoy an old-world rank & file, but I've just lost all trust...

Actually I think they noticed that Mantic can pull in enough players to print a GW sized, GW priced hardback rank and flank rulebook, and decided it's about time to sink that ship.
