Hi guys,
I did one such poll a few weeks ago but it was too early.
Now that every supplement is out with it's faq, what supplement are you playing or intend to be playing soon (like, in 2019) ?
Nothing particular, I'm just curious. And if you could just say why / if you play competitively with it (as it could explain why some are more played than the others).

My response is simple - I have a large Imperial Fist collection, so that's the supplement I use. It doesn't matter how powerful or weak it is since I don't play space marines competitively.

I try to adjust to the viability of my opponent's list, so having a more competitive book just means that I have more options of how to tone down my list but still be viable.

I'm bouncing back between Iron Hands and Imperial Fists.

Fists, Hands, Scars and Ravens. There's an incredibly diverse array of playstyles that the various supplements provide for, and its a lot of fun to be able to use a single model collection to swap between them depending on my mood.

Space Wolves codex supplement. Or un-supplement, as it may be.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Not quite a supplement, my SM army is Dark Angels.

+ whatever, if anything, I can use in an Imperial Soup all dreadnought list.

I honestly don't expect to get another 40k game in before the year ends though.

None. Once upon a time I played soup with DW/BA/DA/SW depending on what army concept I felt like playing.

Now I can't get past the salt where every battlefield role I want to fill is done better, for cheaper by some "real astartes." After attending my first tourney after the drop of the new marines I went from feeling that I was playing an uphill battle with pride taken from winning a battle with a handicap to feeling like why did I even show up...

It's been a couple months since I've been to a tourney and my hobby time has been fun but I think permanent damage to my local RTT scene has been done with numbers falling from consistent 15-20 at local RTTs around the area to single digits for most tournaments I've checked on.

Ultramarines, my custom chapter are an Ultramarines sucessor chapter. and the flexability of the supplement is nice, I have all the others though. (mostly bought for the lore belive it or not) so If I want to run something else to mix it up I'll have the option

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I didn't think so many people were playing RG compared to the poor WS ! Ultramarines are way more played than the others (poster boys effect ?) who are pretty much all as numerous, well played GW !

Out of curiosity is anyone able to tell me how many strats there are in the core SM book.

Also how many starts there are per supplement or is it veriable?

Also if PA BT book is supplement level of starts?

RG since its close to my BA army.
The tactics is slightly different but I like the look of those Marines.
Moreover, I can field my three painted Invitors.
