my gaming group has abandoned 40k and is currently playing 30k. Since I’m the only 40k player left I decided to join them in HH. I decided to start a thousand sons army because I enjoyed their tragic end and the fact that they didn’t really wanted to turn traitor but they were forced to. Question is how do I build up a 3000 points army? what I want to play is 30 veterans and 15 terminators, however I m unsure which tanks shall I run. Do you have any suggestions?
thanks in advice

Which Rite? Pride of the Legion or Guard of the Crimson King? (PotL is the general Veterans/Terminators in Troops Rite, GotCK makes your Troops Sekhmet and offers advantages when Deep Striking.)

I find Thousand Sons' units to be so expensive you don't really have much space left for armour; shooting from Veterans/Terminators tends to be better anti-infantry than anti-vehicle, so a Sicaran Venator or lascannon Predators or Dreadnaughts are useful. I also find if you're doing Guard of the Crimson King Ammitara for accurate Deep Strike are very useful, and if you're doing Pride of the Legion you'll want Rhinos for your Veterans.
