Like the title says?

Does my BA detachment lose the +1 attack in assault doctrine if my list also has a BA successor chapter detachment?

I think so. The phrasing in the rulebook is that you get Savage Echoes "...so long as every unit from your army (with the exception of those that are UNALIGNED) is a BLOOD ANGELS unit or every unit from your army is from the same Blood Angels successor Chapter."

Either/or. Not both.

That's bad.
Even if the successor chooses the CT from the parent chapter?

I can't combine differently painted together. My primaris are painted as successor chapter... And old marines traditionally.

Paint does not matter.

As long as they are all from the same chapter, you are good to go.

You can use your blood angels painted army to represent Iron Hands or Imperial Fists if you like.

You can use your models just fine, paint does not matter, as long as you're picking the same keyword for all units.

I want to use my black armoured primaris (IH/RG usually) "Angels Pentinent" models to have a fluffy reason to be in black armour.

Angels pentinent is the only "blackish" BA faction. Normally death company is the only black armoured BA.

So even in a tournament I could have mixed colours if I say they are from the same sub faction? Only chapter insignia I've ever used on my minis are from BA chapter so I my blue/black models have no chapter specific insignia. Casual games for sure, but also in tournament scene?

Yep. Paint does not matter. As long as your roster says they're all BA and you tell your opponent that the entire army is BA, then you're fine.

Note that there are some places (e.g., Warhammer World) where how a model is painted does matter, so if in doubt make sure to ask your opponent or tournament organizer.

You'll have to check with the specific tournament organizers to see if it's okay for their tournament, some might put on additional restrictions beyond what's in the rules.

Or you know, just say it's night fighting camo? How is that an issue?

If only Blood Angels followed some sort of book, book with whole chapter on various camouflage patterns...
