Hi guys, they was a time GW offered some new tiles, called Badzone Delta 7. But I can't find them anymore ... Do you know if they are discontinued ?
Thanks !

I bought the tiles when they came out. Very good stuff. They even come with special rules included in one of the Gang War books but I can't remember which one and no it's not possible to look it up because my cat just decided to take a nap in my lap.

Suffice to say, playing Necromunda without those extra tiles is like watching TV blindfolded.

As far as I know they stopped producing those tiles now - I think you can only get the boards in the starter box, the Dark Uprising or the plastic boards now.

Like every card set, GW can't seem to keep their printed things in print.

Plus now they want us to buy the (significantly more expensive) plastic tiles that are actually slightly bigger than the cardboard tiles.

They are not too bad, but there's a problem I have with them.

They can almost get painfully restrictive with your actions. It'll bottleneck most players.

I can say without reservation that that massive fan blade saved a game for me. My Goliath opponent couldn't move through that area, allowing my Eschers to keep them contained. Combined with the "this turn all pitfalls count as open terrain" card that I had for a sudden burst of damage, and the game wasn't a complete disaster (just mostly, T4 being very high in Necro and all that...).

I play Van Saar, and those tiles can almost stack the odds in my favor too much, and funnel people through a corridor of death or an ambush. I am saying this as an actual bad thing.

The Necromunda: Dark Uprising starter box comes with a mat. The plastic Zone Mortalis: Floor Tile Set is separate.

Wow wow wow I'm learning so much in this thread
Have you ever seen / tried Ttcombat scenery ? They seem pretty good and quite cheap, with a lot of variety I think once painted and with a few bitz they could be really nice.

Yeah I just started assembling TTCombat walls and stairs for Zone Mortalis. Looks good! I also got the Uprising terrain, however it is only sufficient for a small portion of a "full" table, let's say somewhere between 3'x2' and 4'x4'. The choice was wait for release of more plastic terrain and spend a fortune. Or go the mdf route, get a full table's worth for cheap (relatively speaking). Can still use the plastic Zone Mortalis terrain for 3d battles.

If you calculate the price needed, it becomes insanely expensive to do in plastic. You would need 4 boxes of tiles to cover a battlefield of 3x3 to 4x4. And 3-4 boxes of Uprising terrian. While I love Necromunda, I just can't justify the price.

And btw Necromunda is under rapid development with new updates every month. If you blink, chances are you're going to miss something. The last couple of months, we've had a new gang, new campaign (including new territories), new tactics cards, new expansion book, new version of Chaos and Genestealer cults, new skill category, loads of new scenarios (including shorter 30-minute Gang Raid scenarios), new FAQ and new terrain rules.

This is true. I got enough for a 4'x4' board.

The original 'promise' was a new plastic kit (& book) every quarter, with other stuff around that.
