The issue isn't whether than they are in the Codex or not, its whether or not their proxy/use and loadout is useful. A Nurgle Terminator Lord with Power Axe, some melee cultists, a squad of haphazardly equipped Plague Marines... If there's something in the
DI box that's very useful gameplay wise I'd happily take it on. But if they're only mediocre, or worse, I'd rather not waste time, money and paint on them.
I already have a power axe Khorne terminator lord, 2 dark apostles, cultists and some Chosen, so it would be similar to my current roster but with a
DG flavour.

IMHO you're more likely to get more demand for the fulls et so I'd just sell the whole damn thing.
This is what I was afraid of. How useful are the
PM straight out of the box? I know there's a plasma gun and a plasma pistol and a power fist but are they in any way an effective loadout?

Its more a case of having 6 armies already, and not wanting to start another unloved Chaos force. Plus the funds of a sold-off set can go towards funding the armies I already have. I only got the box for cost effective buying of the
BRB and the unique
SM models.
