First off I apologize if this is the wrong spot for this subject or not but I have questions about units I can or cannot deploy as Admech
So as I understand it the admech faction are the builder of all the vechiles and tech used by the human imperium. So my question would
as an Admech commander can I field armored units of the imperial guard and/or space marines. I am also wondering if I can field units
from the Horus Heresy, IE the older admech units?

The AdMech have a list of specific, faction unique units and vehicles available to them.

They can repair other Imperium faction vehicles, and can be allied alongside other Imperium factions.

You would think that, and I'd argue they should, but sadly you cannot take these units in an admech army.

You CAN however, ally them in. Just realize that you don't get any admech abilities or rules, you'd be running them as their parent codex but with an admech color scheme. On the bright side, Tech Priest Enginseers can repair Imperial Guard tanks, so they'd be a good choice to ally as your techpriests can fix them as well as their own admech units.

Not usually. The Dominus (the bigger generic Tech-Priest HQ) can only repair AdMech or Questor Mechanicus (Knights), and the Enginseer can also repair Astra Militarum, but no Tech-Priest short of Cawl can repair Custodes, Astartes, or Sororitas vehicles.

The vast majority of Heresy units have no 40k stats (only exception at the moment are Secutarii, which aren't really worth using as they don't get the sub-faction trait and don't interact with any stratagems); Forge World has been promising us a book for years and has yet to get around to actually doing it.

I hadn't realised this! I had just asumed that a Dominus worked like an Enginseer. I was thinking about adding a servitor maniple to my Guard, as a way to make techpriests a bit more useful. However, if a Dominus can't repair Russes/Shadowswords then it seems pointless to take one. Which is a shame, as then you can't use noospheric mindlock for +1 to hit.

thanks guys this helps me some. I'm still a little confused because I watched some lore videos on Youtube
and they listed a lot of unit they I simply don't see on Games Workshop. However I was able to find on Forge World.
I'm still fairly new to the faction but the one thing I'm noticing is there sheer lack of anti armor units. Granted I only really play
with my brother and they use a fairly loose set of rules, and they have massive armies. I'm probably facing armies this faction isn't
meant to face (FYI the factions I'm facing off with are Tau, Space marines, and Chaos marines)

That's from 10 thousand years prior to the story of 40k during the Horus Heresy, some of those units aren't around in the 40k universe, others just can't be used in the 40k game because of reasons.
