How do?

I recently had my laptop's Windows crap out entirely, so had to switch to Linux. How do I get Battlescribe working on Linux Mint?

Great Choice ! Battlescribe works perfectly on my linux machines, you just have to pick the universale package :
Unzip it, then directly run the jar from the command line
java -jar RosterEditor.jar
or run the provided RosterEditor.sh

The only issue I have is the auto update of the software, which seems to fail, just redownload the zip when you need an upgrade.

Just make sure you have some form of Java installed, whether it's the OpenJDK or official Oracle version, then as KernelTerror says you can run the Java binaries directly.
