Hi, i want to build terrain for a Forge world/manufactorum/mechanicus themed table. Something like an industrial complex or a big factory. I imagine something with lots of factory chimneys, big gears machines and tanks for different stuff. I want to mainly use GW terrain because i want the typical 40k look. I have 6 sector imperialis board tiles that i am going to cut to small sections to have lots of line of sight blocking terrain. I have look in a lot of my old WD and used google images but i didn't find what i am after. Pictures, links or any ideas on how to do it would be very much appreciated.

whis picture of a forge world has always intrigued me:

GMM studios did a really nice display board back in 2016 for a charity raffle.
Here's a link to a couple of pics but there are more out there....

Try a fallen titan/knight as a centerpiece and greenstuff rock around it?

building Reactor cooling towers is relatively easy; plumbing pipe(copper of pvc), foam cones & a bunch of pics on Google images.

get a decent stockpile of styrene I beams & flats of various widths, small diameter rod & plasticard can get you a long way to a very thematic table.

if you then fill in detail with GW bits and (you're modeling skills dependant) combined with the above mentioned supplies, it will scream Forgeworld(input name here).

That sounds expensive ^^ but i actually wanna to it someday. I liked the dawn of war map with the titan on the ground.

HBMC has got a lot of everything!
You can stretch those GW sprues out really effectively with some simple modelling materials and techniques and some much cheaper model kits.
Take a look at some MDF kits, smaller companies and individuals as well as 3d printed bits.

Does anyone know a good mat i could use for a forge world themed table?

I already sow this one
https://www.gamemat.eu/en/battle-mats/6-x4-battle-mats/6-x4-g-mat-forges-of-mars.html?listtype=searchfulltext&searchparamfull=forge
but i don't like pre printed building-like structures.

I was thinking of buying this one:

I went with a plain concrete mat from Deep Cut for my Necromunda table. Nice and generic and you can put anything anywhere.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I really like this stuff:
https://www.4groundpublishing.co.uk/28mm-model-kits/28mm-sci-fi/28mm-jesserai-industrial

Specifically, their Jesserai range of industrial kits. They are MDF and magnetized, so you can rearrange them into anything you want.
