Subject: Perfume for Slaanesh models?

So, this one is a bit different but bear with me...
I have a bunch of Slaanesh models that will eventually need painted and I have always wondered about giving them a little extra something to make them stand out
The lore mentions that the minions of Slaanesh are usually accompanied by an overpowering musk that allures and stupefies their enemies. I want to simulate this by adding perfume.
The problem is, as a pathetic single man I have no experience with perfume whatsoever and have no idea where to begin. To fit the theme I don't want sweetness or subtlety, I want something cloying, overpowering and borderline nauseating (whilst still being perfume). A customer at my work used to wear way too much perfume. You knew when she was in the store from two aisles away because there was a smell that would catch in the back of your throat. It didn't smell bad, it was just... too much.
Does cheap perfume tend to have that hint of unpleasantness? Or is cheap perfume more likely to be so weak that you can barely smell it at all? There is an episode of the Simpsons where Bart gets his mom a gallon jug of 'French Perfume' that makes her recoil - is there a real life equivalent? Failing that, can anyone recommend any specific brands that would meet my criteria? Would I perhaps be better focussing on something else like potpourri or air freshener liquid or something?
Another thing that worries me is longevity. How long is a fragrance likely to last if applied to a model? Would there be any benefit to mixing it into the paint or the glaze itself?
Thanks for any suggestions

I'd be more worried about it stripping the paint!
You could maybe put a little cotton wool pad on the underside of the bases? You could add scent to that and hopefully it won't eat anything important...

Personally I'd say if your models have an overpowering smell of the cleaning and toiletries aisle at the supermarket then chances are not many people will want you even in the same game room let alone in the same game
It's a nice idea, but eh I think its not perhaps the best. Either the smell would be so subtle that they'd only notice it if they start picking up and sniffing your models; or its so powerful that people just won't want it in the game room.
I mean if you want it for sure ,but I'd say leave it off the models and just spray some scent on your wrists or something.

I don't intend for the smell of the models themselves to be overpowering, I just mean that is the sort of scent that I am looking to start off with. I figured a few dabs would be noticable without stinking out the room. Might take some experimentation though, I guess

an easy way would be to keep a small bag of potpourri in the case/box you store them in. would permeate into the paint and give a hint of (whatever you pick).

Here's the thing about adding smell to your models.
You are adding it to the carrying case, the room you play in, the tips of your fingers, everything that will come in contact with your models.
Women's perfume is incredibly concentrated, it's meant to be sensed when you are in someone's proximity and long afterwards.
Do you really want to do that to the people you're playing with? It's a neat gimmick the first time, afterwards it would be a headache.

I'd go with something like this, a little sachet will probably give you a hint of scent without being overpowering. And you won't have the risk of the oils in a perfume affecting the paint.

Even without it being overpowering, anything that's able to be detected around a 4x6 table is going to smell up the room around. I would not play with someone who did that, as I can almost guarantee the smell would annoy the hell out of me or irritate my sinuses and/or lungs. I'd also find another store if you were there frequently (I find many fragrances as alluring as BO). It's an interesting thought, but introducing chemicals into the air when you don't know what kind of physical reaction (people can be allergic to those chemicals) people may have or whether they want to be subjected to the smell you've chosen is unwise.
That being said, if you want to do it at home for friends who don't care...Get something you plug in, don't put it on your models. Makes sure the smell goes away, avoids any regret down the road, and is way easier than spraying all your models and re-applying.

Um, if you do this what about nurgle models? I mean you don't want the other player to think someone took a on the table, right?

Slaanesh's whole deal is having an unsettling alure, which I why I thought this idea would work well for them. I am surprised at the amount of hate that it is getting in general though. If people think that this would be inconsiderate or annoying then I guess I shouldn't do it.
Thanks for all the input anyway

I think that it's interesting, but I agree with the other posters that it's overall a bad idea to implement. It would be akin to someone using Khorne Berserkers insisting on playing Raining Blood by Slayer loudly through their phone for the duration of the game.

Assuming we are talking about the album rather than the song on repeat that sounds awesome

Well....the album was Reign in Blood, I meant the song, which while awesome, was quite short and might get annoying for someone over a 3-4 hour game Not saying I wouldn't enjoy it nonetheless.

Genuinely?
Be aware that some people have allergies to certain perfumes. Probably not worth the extra bother for minimal gain.

Do this. You can always take them off and they won't touch the model itself. It would even be easy to get unique smells for each unit that way.

I'd pass on this idea completely if I were you OP. I know at least one friend who couldn't even be in the same room as perfume...
Bear in mind that a lot of space for playing have rules in place for smells too.
Not worth the hassle for no tangible payoffs...and you're gonna lose potential opponents.

I'd suggest a stick of fairly neutral incense for going this route. if you must. It's said that slanny's boigirlz are also associated with clouds of incense.
