Continuing to delve into the 2012 section of my backlog; today I have for you a Deimos pattern Predator Executioner. This is almost identical to the one I finished last week - you can really bang stuff out pretty fast when it basically only has like, 6 colors.

The heavy conversion beamer has these covers that i intentionally omitted - I don't really like how they look when on. I prefer the weird science\retro ray gun look when they are off. Why would you want to cover that up???

It's a little thing, but I am super pleased with how this chaos star decal came out on the turret. It wasn't going to lay flat since it was a curved shape, so I laid down some future floor polish, then did the decal carefully, as smooth as possible, then some more future floor polish, and then several coats of Mr. Mark softer until the wrinkled edges smoothed out.

rear view, with the usual brass etch:

The IV is 3d printed and, if we're being honest, maybe a little too large. I did a better job on the headlights this time though.

I have a friend who hates putting the gargoyle heads on weapons, but he is wrong and they are awesome:

The weapons are magnetized, of course. Here it is with the... plasma cannon thing? and heavy bolters:

Side view of the same:

Magnet options. Note the Infernus and Executioner are very similar, but the turrets are just a tiny bit different, so they're not really interchangeable:
Spoiler:

Executioner side by side with the Infernus. Note that the Infernus had some kind of weird Dullcote accident and dried much darker than is standards for my Iron Warriors. I'm good with it since it's the only tank constantly driving through carbon and soot.
Spoiler:

This Iron Warrior parking lot is getting out of control:

Love these. Completely agree about the conversion beamer. Much cooler without the guards.

Makes me want to work on my Heresy stuff. Too many projects pulling in different directions.
