I need some advice..

What should i do to mark out sgt and lts in my howlig griffon SM army. What kinda helmet colours should i go with?

White may go well with the red and yellow.

You could use a second darker red for the helmet or go with the Blood Angels approach of black shoulders like I did with my Exorcists, but I'm not sure if the Gryphons would deviate that far from the codex.

Imperial Armour Vol. 9: Badab War pt. 1 shows Howling Griffons veteran sergeants variously with white and gold helmets.

Fred Reed's army from ye olden days White Dwarf had blue helmets on the sergeants; not that that's a canon source.
