Ok so im wanting to do black templars as an army, or a force styled off of the templars (so i can codex hop if i need to)

Now, im not too keen on the primaris head style they use, i was wondering if they are compatable with 'standard' marine heads and shoulders.

I also have looked into 'custom' parts by puppetswar and Kromlech, would head crests on all marines be too much? Save them only for seargeants/captains

And finally, an alternative color scheme? I was envisioning using the standard black and white but with gold trims and giving seargeants different color helms (like red)

So using impcat app on the phone, here are the first drafts of the colors i had in mind for the army, would it get away with using templar rules and what do you guys think?
