Great job here mate love the laval base! Maybe the black on the whip could do with some subtle highlights, possibly.

Mini looks great love the brightness. Base rim a tiny bit on the shiny side which makes the little nicks/scratches more visible.

Thanks. Yeah the black on the whip is a bit under highlighted, I did drybrush it with Skavenblight Dinge, but the Nuln Oil I put over it seems to have obliterated the drybrushing. To be honest I wasn't looking for extreme highlights on it anyhow, being meant to be leather (in my mind at least) it's a fabric so you don't get absolute hard edges.

To be honest my photos were possibly over lit, as I had to adjust them in photoshop to get them to even look like they are above. I'm not a professional photographer nor do I have a professional setup!

Looks great! I love the older greater daemon models. They still towered over the rank and file, but weren't completely out of proportion. Maybe you could share it in the retro models thread (link in my sig)! I know a lot of people would get a big kick out of it there.

I actually like the black whip, I think it looks good as is - any greyer and it might distract from the bright red of the body.
