Is there a comparison/list of the space marine sprues that GW created over the ages? With pictures even?

I found https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Miniatures_(Space_Marines) but it didn't give me the info I wanted plus it didn't seem entirely accurate.

Thanks! But can you tell me whether the tactical Space Marine sprues have changed from 3rd to now?

They have. There was a new version of the kit around the release of the 4th ed Marine Codex, and another one more recently (the current one).

There was a 6e kit that added the grav-weapons, the current Assault Squad and the Devastators came out around the same time. The Mk.3 and Mk.4 Heresy Tacticals both came out during 7e, I think.

They have changed but are 100% compatible, and are the same scale with the exception of the bases. The latest Tactical kit now comes with 32mm bases rather than the original 25mm bases. Otherwise the major difference is the inclusion of more Special weapons on the later sprues, the original 3rd Ed. kit only had a Flamer, Missile Launcher and Chainsword, iirc. The latest kit comes with Flamer, Plasma, Melta, Grav specials, plus the Missile Launcher, plus a number of close combat weapons, pistols, and the pieces to build a combi-weapon of your choice for the sarge.

And They Shall Not Fit Through Doors!!!

IIRC the latest Tac kit was also when they swapped the little nubs/divits to line up the torso halves. So they are not 100% compatible if you want to mix with older torso parts. But shaving those off is a trivial job, so call it 98% compatible.
