I am thinking about putting a small Marine force together. I really want to use studded shoulder pads for one thing, as I like the reference to old school Rogue Trader times.
But what I would really like is to use a whole load of Mark 5 Marine helmets as I think they look cool! Rule of cool wins every time after all. There are some floating around on evil bay, but nothing in great numbers. I imagine 20 or 30 would be needed for what I intend.
Can anyone recommend 3rd party companies that produce options for such helmets? Have you seen anything on Shapeways or similar that might fill this niche? Foregworld does not sell them separately and so far my internat searches are not coming up with much other than DIYs, which I would prefer to avoid for time and sanity reasons.
some of the old chaos marine helmets are close to Mk5s. Just a bit of trimming needed. I think that's the only easy way of getting a handful without spending loads of cash.
