Started painting a little again after taking a break for many years, and my daughter asked me to paint this ork trukk for her. Had a lot of fun!

Great job. Fun, bright colors, the greens and yellows and reds all pop. Really well done chipped-paint effects too.

Thanks. Used citadel paints for the chipping, too. Wanted to avoid using solvents other than water to keep things as simple and non-smelly as possible. Was surprised with how well it worked.

Black primer, basecoat screaming bell, shade allover w agrax earthshade, layer w hashut copper, shade some recesses a bit more w agrax earthshade (and nuln oil in some places), drybrush w a little bit of necron compound or stormhost silver, highlight in places w stormhost silver or hashut copper. Weathering w a sponge using various browns and black.

Playing around with the 'eavy metal ork flesh recipe on some ork boyz. Think I'll go with that from now on. Reminds me of the early 90's orks.
