Hi guys,

My airbrush is creating splatter and dotted effects when airbrushing - I work between 25-30psi and only airbrush to prime.

the paint is very inconsistent when airbrushing.

I've also noticed when I cover up the nozzle, I get no bubbles in the cap - no blow back.

What could this be?

Try clearing out the nozzle, there might be paint stuff in there.
just throw it in rubbing Alc and clean with with dental brush

No bubbles in the cup means the nozzle assembly isn't sealing for some reason. Apply soapy water to everything forward of the cup, cover the tip, and see if you get bubbles (indicating leaks). The pressure loss could account for the spattering.

In addition to the other points mentioned I'd drop the pressure by almost 50%. And I'd also seriously look at the consistency of the primer. It should be thinned downed to approx the same consistency as lowfat milk.
