1. I was playing a game that you could get points for killing the other person's warlord. I was playing celestine as my warlord and they claimed that they would get double the points since you slain celestine twice. Does that work that way? is the first time consider slained even if you revive her for second round.
2. When smite is cast upon celestine, can the geminies take the wound? It says celestine can transfer any wound from any attack to the geminies. It says smite is not a attack but a spell. I am pretty sure answer is no, I just want to double check.

I can definitely answer the first one.
For Slay the Warlord secondary in 9th edition, you check at the end of the battle if the warlord was slain. So if she's slain and comes back, you don't get it. If she was killed and never came back or you kill her again, you then get the points for it.
For the second one, the Lifewards ability specifies attack, which I would interpret as a shooting/close combat attack, not mortal wounds from things like Explodes or Smite. I'm not sure if there's an official ruling on this one though.

1) Slay the Warlord is only checked at the end of the battle. 2) Smite is not an "attack", as per the T'au FAQ. (Edit: And the Glossary as stated below)

As noted, Lifeward allows the Gemina to take Wounds lost due to an attack. Per the 9th Edition Glossary, an attack is an attack is made with a weapon. As Smite is a Psychic Power, it is not an attack and is thus not eligible for Lifeward.

Everyone else n.v is correct but I'll add that the geminae superia are arguably the worst unit in the game so their rules should be largely irrelevant. Don't take them

Yes and no. I have been in situations where I have had celestine take out a tank when she would of been dead if it wasn't for the geminie. Automatically Appended Next Post: patman1440 wrote:I can definitely answer the first one.

Thanks for clearing it up.

I think it's interesting when they travel with Seraphim or Zephyrim; Celestine and the Geminae both have character protection, and if the enemy has sniper shots to get around Seraphim, any sniping can be shunted to the Geminae.
Since they're only concerned with snipers, they can usually weather the storm long enough for Celestine to do her healing thing.
I'm not saying they're great, or even especially good, but they are sniper protection.
Funny: in Crusade, characters are allowed to earn relics and warlord traits, which is a nice little buff for most characters, but the Geminae actually have a specific rule that prevents it.
