I recently unpacked all of my hobby stuff after a long hiatus. I painted my first mini after many years from an AOBA Nob; mostly to show my kid. She painted an AOBA boy and is now on her second as am I. I showed her a patina effect and she mixed and applied a better rust effect immediately! All of the paints used are either craft acrylic or artist acrylics from liqutex and golden; as they survived storage and my mini paints did not. I’m afraid the pictures are cell phone quality.

Impressive! I can't tell which one you painted and which one your daughter painted. That means that she's already ten times better a minipainter than I was when I was starting out LOL

Thank you all for your kind comments, the kiddos second mini is already better than my first several years of work she should finish her second and third minis tomorrow. and I'll probably take a squad picture. Here's our current completed models on bases and the kiddo hard at work; we use this as her art time for distance learning. Yesterday I showed her how to make bases and a couple days ago I showed her how to pour a mold and cast bases.

That is awesome!
Let creativity flow, something is much more valuable and special is here other than how the models end up.

The Kiddo finished her second Slugga Boy and I finished a fist of Nobz playing with the colors I want for the AOBR Boss. I didn't put together my full lighting set up so the shadows are a little wonky

My Kiddo finished her 3rd Boy and I think is showing marked improvement. It really just took awhile for me to finish her base so they match the rest.
