Whats the best way to remove green stuff from plastic model?

I've inherited a big centre piece model a while back(the LOTR Oliphant) and it has largish flat chunk of GS on it where someone was starting a conversion.
I dont know if they applied glue but I have a hunch the haven't.

Whats the best way to get rid of the GS/ unattached from the plastic ?

If it's not glued in place, just peel it off. Work a knife or tool tip under an edge to get it started, and it should come away without too much trouble.

Paint strippers (isopropyl, nail polish removers etc.) also tend to soften the greenstuff and make it easier to remove.

You could also try freezing it. Should make it brittle enough that you can snap/break bits off. Might not be practicable on a model that big, depending on how big your freezer is, or how much room you have in it.
