I had one room that had an iron floor, and it represents the table of a lab in another, but iron isn't a very attractive material for most things.

Ah ok.
I must say that the fall mechanism seemed entirely efficient when I fell down it...

Automatically Appended Next Post: So only have one idea left at the moment, which I had before but never got around to, and that is to get a village and slowly build it up like this.
Problems I instantly see though are how the villagers are going to get about and where exactly a pretty remote village is to begin with. In fact it'd likely be best formed among a small system of villages. So I sort of need help finding a few villages close to each other (yet a decent space away from other structures), people to perhaps help out with the building at times (best way would be to build one building or such rather than a team working on the same structure at the same time) and like the player made villages people to live in it when it's done.
But most importantly the initial villages to build up on.

alright guys, I need ender pearls, willing to pay 1 gold bar each
also need coal or charcoal or wood, name your price/stack
also would like to create a railway to my land, by my count it will cost roughly 500 iron, which I have pretty close to a stack of iron blocks which should be enough if anyone wants to take on that project

I will build your rail. If you supply me with parts that is.
I have 2 ender pearls.
I'll swap, but I'm not walking to your place again...

It's a mixup!
I think Frostoman has them right now.
I told him to, sorry.

I'll get him to put some back so we can share the task.

If you're working on Grundz' rail-line, be certain to follow the rail system we've been setting up. Don't want everything to become too confusing again.
GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

That would be me once I get all the rails back from the server crash. Is this a nether, or over-world rail system you're talking about?
Nether. We're trying to make it easier to navigate, with central loops that then branch into sub-loops. Hopefully most of them would have designated names for ease of direction. So before doing Grundz', work on the main loops.

Huh...I'll have to look at what you guys are doing before I start anything I guess. I can't use the rails to build anything outside of Grundz's tunnel though as he provided all the supplies.

my tunnel is a straight line that runs 1400 blocks from the spawn portal, it is not involved in any "loops" in any way that I can discern.
