So I have done commissions in the past, but well been out of the 'game' for a while. I got started on this project when a guy from my local gaming club asked me if I'd be interested in upgrading his old battlewagon. He tempted with a trade(Landraider) for my commission services, thus this commission log has begun.

Commission 1:
-Upgrading his battlewagon.
-Replacing/upgrading the tracks.
-Adding 4 big shootaz
-New killkannon
-Deffrolla
-Kustom Force Field

Some me being a Big Mek I'm gunna Krump His Ride!

This is how I received it:


After stripping it down and began reworking the wheel section, it's missing 6 wheels. The new wheels are made of cheap plastic buttons & brass tacks for the most part. I am also making custom track, the tracks that came with the model are flimsy rubber, not Orky enough!

Looking nicely uparmoured! Some nice chains might look good hanging from the new armour, or maybe they’d too Chaos? The new treads are certainly very Orky, but they maybe look too long to make it round the bogeys. What’s the plan for the turret? Needs more dakka obviously, but anything else?

You ought to think about painting the road wheels before you can't get at them with the side skirts.

The upper parts of the tank I was planning on over building it making the tall ork tank. As for the treads, yeah they're a bit big but well they're lots of parts and pieces so they'll work.

Paint? Me? Nope! This is a commission and client gets to paint it to match his army.


This is my favorite part, the upper structure and the detailing beginning.

The turret is removable & once I finish detailing it out, then I'll secure it in place:


The beginning of turret detailing, also the bottom has a hole but I am going to fill the gap with hot glue then some epoxy sculpt.

I'm curious, what is the weapon supposed to count as? Is it a gunwagon or a killtank?

To 100% honest no clue, client asked for a monster of a front cannon so I just started having fun and that's where I ended.
