AS for the whole Elona Holmes thing that sounds somewhat like the Estate is trying to get some income from the movies. It must be somewhat painful to manage an estate for a character series that is phenomenally popular and heavily used; yet at the same time is predominantly in the free domain of use and thus other entities are making a lot of money off it without needing to pay royalties and the like.
Though it honestly sounds like a very long stretch for the case to be basically hinging on subtle shifts of character display.
Bloody loved that, and had quite a crush on Maid Marian back in the day. Sorry to read she apparently abandoned acting.
Will be interested in a reboot obviously (if they're not talking to the Horrible Histories folks they probably should) but will be more looking into picking up the original. Imagine the boys will love it.
