Do Custodes need permission or have to "request" titan Support from AdMech, or can they they just command it? As every Custodian speaks with the authority of the Emperor, and their leader is essentially of equal rank to Bobby G On terra at least, (Who appears to be able to requisition Imperator Titans for parade ceremonies) Can a simple Custodian Guard point at a Titan and issue an order, with the authority of the Emperor, or are they required to "go through channels"?

I don't read the novels, but I think in at least one of them they have 2 Titans guarding the palace (just checked, specifically the Eternity Gate) with them just as a matter of course. In 30k they can field a psi-titan too I believe. So my guess is they either have some permanently assigned or can just grab them.

I imagine the relationship is strong enough that they could just ask nicely and they'll get one pronto, top priority, other warzones be damned. However... someone did put up an interesting theory on here recently that the AdMech is not strictly part of the Imperium, merely allied with it for convenience... and they'd actually do alright for themselves if they decided one day that pandering to the rest of mankind was too much trouble.

Forgive me for the silliness of the comparison, but someone once told me that the Mechanichum was essentially the Weylend Yutani of 40k. All they do is severely endanger mankind in their ever escalating attempts to discover new and more powerful weaponry. Also their are a mega conglomerate of the richest and most powerful tech corporations in Terran history. Or at least that's how they came about.

EDIT: But I think you are right, because literally no one is "allowed" to refuse the Custodes. It's not the same as a Guardsman telling a Commissar to go pound sand, but I think the effect would essentially be the same. You told me no? Well your whole house, planet, and clan have just been assigned to stand guard on Catachan.

I think it's a lot like Inquisitors. It depends who is asking who. Is a Custodian asking a Magos? The Magos probably yields. Is a Custodian asking Cawl? Cawl can probably tell him to pound sand. Is it Trajann asking the Fabricator-General? The Fabricator-General probably yields. Is it the Custodes representative to the Highlords asking the AdMech's representative to the Highlords? Probably gets decided by the other Highlords.

Psi-titans are not exactly Mechanicum - the Ordo Sinister is part of the Emperor's Household forces.

Yes. Mars & Terra have equal footing in the Imperium - Mars follows the Emperor because he's the Omnissiah.

I guess that's my main point. Either they all speak as the Emperor, or none do. Secondly, I doubt very much that any High Lord could refuse a Custodes outright. It would be immedietely deemed heresy by the powers that be and they would be stripped of everything. It's happened exactly twice according to the books. Same result both times, also same high lord basically. The leader of the Church. Different men, but same basic position. Both were "Removed". One by a very pissed off Canoness and one by 4x Vindicaires simultaneously.

That's pretty much my thinking. As things stand, the Mechanicus would probably be all too happy to send the Titan over and keep things friendly.
It's entirely possible they could refuse the request - but that'd probably result in a schism and civil war not unlike when Goge Vandire's Ecclesiarchy got too big for its boots. So they'd only consider it if they were already looking at breaking Imperial ties fully.

Not going to lie, Considering the massive fleet upheaval that would be required to suddenly ship a titan on the whim of a single Custode would likely see the request "lost in the shuffle" but still. Logical paradox. Is it mentioned in any of the books how Imerator/Emperor class titans are moved/Transported?

They're delivered planetside by giant drop pods/macrolanders via dedicated Titan transport ships.
