I got the tempestus box set for my birthday and decided to try and create a slightly more real world looking effect. So, I bought the wheel conversion kit from Zinge and set about creating a squad that look a bit like an elite para type unit.

Nice job. Amazing upgrade in swapping it to wheeled.

You nailed it.
The style and conversions looks great.

Only downside is the detail of the infantry gear and armour kind of dissapear with this style. However, that is fully in line with the realistic approach you take, so no big issue.

NIce job really like the conversion, wheels on the Taurox look so much better. And the Scions look great, I like the more realistic look.

I wasn't really interested in the model at all until I saw the wheeled version. It looks a lot better I feel!

Thanks, yeah there is a lot of detail I haven't picked out. I did a test run with some extra highlights on the armour pieces and some other colours but I preferred the "overall" scheme with fewer details. I'm not a very quick painter so it's nice having a relatively simple scheme as well!

Cheers! I really like the Scions models but put off getting any for years until I made a test model with the scheme I have gone for.
