Our latest Kickstarter; Scrapwar Machines of Destruction is now live. This campaign features STL files for a selection of armoured vehicles fashioned out of derelict war machines and a variety of scenery to make a scrap based settlement.

Those vehicles seem more in W40k style than the official ones.
And they are also in the right scale, in comparison with the infantry models! Or am I wrong?

Some really cool big models - some will work just as well for 6mm games - what sort of prices are you looking at for them?

Thank you that is very kind! Yes these vehicles have been designed to be in scale with the infantry, which is why the Scrap Galleon ended up being so massive!

Thank you, the Kickstarter is just for STL files. I am planning on looking into physical releases next year for the larger vehicles, but material assessments need to be completed first before pricing can be worked out.

The main focus for us is 28mm with some 15mm scale models coming out over this year as well which has all our time taken up at the moment. As far as Epic scale we have had quite a few inquiries over the last few months, so it is now something that is being worked on and the first few releases will come in the 4th quarter of this year.

3 New releases today.

Firstly we have the Sledgehammer Tank Destroyer. This vehicle is a heavily armoured tank destroyer for 28mm scale science fiction wargames. This is a multi-part kit with a resin cast hull and PLA 3d printed tracks and weapons. There are two weapon options available; a tank hunter cannon and a siege cannon.

Measurements (including tank hunter gun):
Length: 192mm
Width: 88mm
Height: 57mm

Secondly we have the Breakthrough version of the Typhos Battle Tank. There are 3 weapons options for the main turret - a cannon with coaxial machinegun, twin cannon and siege cannon. The Breakthrough variant of the Typhos is also equipped with a hull mounted bulldozer blade.

Measurements (including turret - unarmed and bulldozer blade):
Length: 145mm
Width: 88mm
Height: 74mm

And finally we have the Buffalo Recovery Truck. This kit is £18 and is a multi-part 3d printed kit.

The Recovery Truck comes with an optional dozer blade for pushing obstacles out of it's path and the crane can either be built retracted or extended.

Length: 156mm (163mm with dozer blade)
Width: 74mm
Height: 64mm with the retracted crane and 138mm with the extended crane.

How minor is the "minor fine sanding"? I have been a bit disappointed with 3D printed PLA before (from other manufacturers, not you) that seemed to need at least an hour of sanding per piece, and then still had fine lines visible even after painting.

It varies depending on the piece, I make an effort to orientate and split parts up to minimise the line effect when printing to make it easier for customers as the orientation of a print has a huge impact on how the lines come out depending on the shapes involved. Sometimes it is unavoidable due to many intersecting shapes/angles but that is unfortunately the nature of FDM printing.
