Started to print a Warlord Titan to try my hand at larger models, since I have up until now only been using my printer for D&D figures.

Using a Peopoly Phenom and Siraya Fast resin. Decided to paint as I go along, since it seems easier rather than painting after assembly.

Currently 5 weeks into the project. Had to take a break from printing until Wednesday, as my LCD finally burned out. But only have 10 prints left, so home stretch.

Wow. Cool build and great colours. Thanks for sharing.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Impressive! And very smart to paint as your print to avoid a huge tasks when you have finished.

Damn, I just finished one at AT18 scale and I thought THAT was a huge project...

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Good God, I hope you are printing hollow.

There were only 4 pieces that haven't been hollowed for stability sake(Not counting armor plates of small detail parts since they're too thin/small to matter). Thats the shins, the front piece of the upper torso and the back piece. Rest is all hollowed

Wow its looking great, did you make the STL yourself or did you get it online? I'd love to give something like that a go.

Approx armies
9000pts AdMech (Main army)
7000pts Black Templars (original army)
3500pts Death Guard (lazy side project)
2000pts Imperial Knights (extension of AdMech)
2000pts Harlequins (fun side project)

Its the Stroganoff Titan that someone else did some time back. Unfortunately, the Thingaverse link no longer works and not sure if I'm allowed to share the STL here or not, since it is technically a licensed model

Also, the previous person that did it used FDM. I wanted to try something different. Now if you DO find it and you do decide to do resin also, you're gonna need a fairly large printer. I'm using a Phenom, and even that has some parts stretching its limits

I only have a mono 2k so reasonably small, but I'm sure I could find a work around. PM me if you would be able to share the STL.

Got a little more progress done today. On the last steps of the project. All that remains are the should plates and weapons.

Awesome!! I did download this file a few months ago before it went haywire, so looking forward to printing when I get my bigger resin printer after the holidays.

I set all pieces to hollow at about 1.20 mm, so thin pieces come out solid in any case. Also, drain holes are important in obscure places to get the liquid out after printing.

I'd recommend at least keeping the weapons at 3mm hollow if you intend to magnetize.

I just swiped this file amongst a batch of several different 3d Warlord Titan models. It's really letting me see what this one is like compared to the others!

That's not a regular marine

Far too jolly...

Great work. I really like the heat staining on the plasma cannon.

Thanks. Regretfully we had an accident with the Plasma Cannon, which I had a feeling was going to happen anyways, but gonna have to reprint that arm
