Yes, for all you old WHFB grognards, that's the name of one of the most OP armies in 6th. A bit of fond rememberance from a wizened warlock engineer. I bought this army (1) to paint, (2) to showcase Clan Skryre on the warpath, and (3) to be legal. If I won a few games with it, that wouldn't hurt, though. So, without further ado, here's my army. Any tweaks would be appreciated, but major overhauls are a bit of a problem as I have a fixed budget to work with.

So here's the plan- The Warp Lightning cannons disrupt the enemy command structure. And by disrupt I mean blow away. Since there's no to hit roll "Look Out Sir!" doesn't apply. Very little short of a big monster can take a hit from two full power cannons, and while they'll no doubt tear themselves to pieces in the process, any good Warlock Engineer knows Skryre weapons don't come with a warranty for a reason. The Ratling Guns follow very much the same plan. More-more Warp-lead allows them to unleash a hail of fire, and Overseer of Destruction makes it a ton more accurate. Sure they'll go boom on doubles, but only one every other turn or so, and since they shoot first, oh well. The Stormfiends are all about getting up in your face. The Doomflayers may be erratic, but on average they're better than the alternative. Besides, what's clan Skryre without erratic weapons. The warpfire projectors are great against a lot of stuff, due to the fact they can dish out heaps of attacks against hordes, and mortal wounds against tough guys. They fall flat against Zombie Dragons or Mega Gargants, but can't win 'em all. Finally the Ratling Cannons. The're in a black powder formation. That is all. With Vigordust injections they should be pretty good in melee, even clubbing things with their guns. Jezzails... Even on paper they're bad. I have them because the formation says I have to, and also fluff says I really should.

The other stuff... I don't know. The Doomwheel charges ahead and the Acolytes grab unattended objectives? More stuff I have because thematically I should, or because army comp says I must.

I can tell you know what you're doing, and I think this will very much meet your expectations. It is not super optimized but at the same time you've picked out effective artifacts, equipment, and army structure. To comment on the last few things you mentioned;
-The doomwheel is a shooting/harassment unit nowadays, and it can serve as a throwaway unit or something to send to the enemy side of the board through a gnawhole.
-Jezzails are really good. Did you see the part where they re-roll all hits if they don't move?
-5-man acolytes are cheap objective grabbers or speed bumps. With only 5 they can't be relied on to deal any damage in a given turn, but you also spent few points on them.

Main concern for me is you’re really prone to a Double Turn, especially if the dice betray you.

If the enemy get in striking range, it won’t take much to start cutting your Ratses down?

At 3 deployment drops he will likely have turn choice, meaning he can choose second and have a 33% change of auto-winning because that's what happens when skryre gets a round 1-2 double.

Cool! I am tinkering with the idea of jumping back into the favor of the Horned Rat with Clan Skryre. Wouldn’t grinderfists be good to have for at least one stormfiends unit for deepstriking?

If you had a unit of 6 stormfiends could you give 1 a grinder fists and 1 Ratling cannons?

Your list will do fine. You'll die to stiff breezes in melee, but you're going for theme here rather than optimization. On that regard, you'll do find unless your local play group wants to play hardball with their lists.

I do not suggest Grinderfists. A 33% chance to not have your big damage dealers on the board does not sit right with me, AND you give up one of your most potent shooting weapons. Seriously, Ratling Cannons with the Clan Skryre buff are NASTY. If I want my Stormfiends Deepstriking, I take a 6-man unit and pay the extra to buy a Warp-Grinder weapon team model.
