Hey!
Since I got some good and effective answers to my questions last time, I will now toss in a few more NetEA questions!

1. When playing DKoK or Baran Siegemasters, you have access to the fortified positions. I'm not sure I understand exactly where I am allowed to deploy them. The rules, on page 163, says that "Fortified posistions may be set up anywhere a vehicles may be deployed on the player's half of the table"... What exactly does that mean? Can I deploy them anywhere on my tablehalf, where no other terrain obstacles are or what?

2. Space marine units take two blast markers to be suppressed, but I'm a bit unsure how they are allocated. The way we have been playing it now, is you allocate all the units in a SM formation with one blast marker, before any unit receive a second (like you do when allocating hits). Is this the right way, or do you allocate the first two blast markers to one units, before moving on to the next SM unit in the formation?

Thanks!

Basically you can deploy them anywhere that isn't impassable, since vehicles can start from Dangerous terrain. So no deploying your bunkers in the middle of a lake or atop an unreachable spire, otherwise you have half a table to put them in. Most likely you want to deploy them near the objectives that you wish to garrison or in otherwise important points you wish to hold onto.

As for supressing, blasts aren't allocated. They belong to the whole formation. When checking for suppression, normally you count the blasts a formation has (X), check how many units are shooting and just don't shoot with X units that are furthest away from the target. With space marines, the process is exactly the same except that you need two per unit to be suppressed. That's always two full blasts, so say, if your formation had five blasts, only two units that were at the back wouldn't shoot.
