I'm fairly new to warhammer (I've been interested since late 2017) and I've got all the basics down, meaning that I understand the history of 40k and all the important events and stuff like that, but I'm having issues with the specific factions and characters and so on and so forth. Any tips for how I can get more knowledgeable about the specifics?

I like a guy called Luetin09 on youtube, he makes great lore videos that I have on while i'm painting. He definately filled in a lot of gaps for me, and he sometimes explains why the lore is like it is which is interesting. If you listen you will see what I mean.

Also, if you ever can, pick up a copy of the original Rogue Trader rulebook, to see where it all started (worth it for the artwork alone).

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
