Subject: Choosing an army: AoS

So I have never played AoS. New year, done gift cards, and I'm considering it as I've just started to get back into GW.
Mostly I'm looking for some guidance on choosing the aren't for me. Looks matter, and the factions I enjoy visually are Kharadron, Ironjawz and Lumineth. Could be talked into nighthaunts or bonereapers.
In my old fantasy days, I was an undead player (generally magic heavy, but also VC with lots of cav and grave guard), Brets (royal air force), and wood elves. So...glass cannons-ish (speed, hitting power, some resilience but risk getting bogged down) or range/magic focus. Those traits terms to hold generally in gaming for me... So do any of the factions whose models I enjoy line up that way?

Lumineth sound like they encapsulate those qualities the most to me.

Lumineth for glass cannon category. Mind you small range so not much variety. There's basically 3 lists that don't shoot hard on your feet.
For ranged ko fits the bill. Mind you very little melee then.
Ironjaws don"t sound to fit your bill. Nor bonereapers.
Tzeentch could be option if you don't hate the model

Lumineth sound like they would work for you. They are a smaller force, but that's normal for AoS right now with a lot of new armies which are smaller. Recent preview videos from GW also show very likely 1 or 2 new models for them coming "soon" as well.
Plus in AoS the small armies mechanically do work. So you aren't left weaker.

Also, Lumineth have an advantage in that you can likely still find their 'army in a box' bundle on store shelves near you. It nabbed you the army book, a unit of Wardens(Spearmen), a unit of Dawnriders(horses!), and Light of Eltharion(unique character) plus dice and a combat gauge and spell lore/artifact cards.

Kharadron - rely heavily on movement and shooting.
You can make a small elite army from them, but they do need shooting to soften targets.
Ironjawz - falls under Orruk warclans now.
Pretty hard hitting and elite army.
They have a stack of options to increase their speed to the point they can be one of the fastest armies in AoS.
They are sharing a book with bonesplitterz now.
Lumineth - the new army.
They are a fairly elite army and hit hard.
Teclis is one of the strongest casters in the game.
Just be prepared to learn a lot of rules as they have more special rules than just about any other army.
Nighthaunt - quick and easy to paint and look good.
Rules wise, they are in a fairly bad spot currently.
They pay a big tax on their rules and are extremely dependent on hero’s babysitting them.
Ossiarch - extremely sturdy army that just refuses to die.
They have several builds but most focus around large blocks of troops.
Can be an elite army but they lose a lot of effectiveness.

Thanks all!
As an old VC player, I'm tempted to wait for that given recent previews, but I think Lumineth seem pretty compelling.

Based on the fact that GWs previews tend to work in 3 month blocks I would not expect to see the Vampire army until mid-year at best. We know its coming, but its a pretty long way off right now.

That actually doesn't bug me.
What does bug me is that I recently saw the Kharadron in person...and those models are magnetic to me. I'm a big Cinderspire series from Jim butcher fan, and it really evokes that for me.

Kinda why the start collecting boxes exists, you get a taste to see if you like the gameplay.
One thing is to choose what you want to paint, but after paint comes the gaming unless you are a collector only, and if you dont like how it plays, then the hobby time would kinda be wasted, would it not?
