Until very recently, I was using an old iron box... it has sentimental value -it's a family heirloom of sorts- and I find it sexy in a retro way, but in practical terms it was terrible: it weighs a ton, opens and closes like Dracula's coffin and only fits old citadel pots and regular citadel pots... citadel wash bottles, or vallejo droppers, had to be stored sideways. It was running out of space fast -even though my paint collection is yet very limited.
So I started looking for stuff...
-Cool wooden organizers, or nail polish displays, wouldn't do, as I needed something portable -I do not have a dedicated painting space, nor a lot of storage space, so those are not really convenient for me.
-I checked IKEA, but I found no boxes that served my needs. There was a nice box but it was too short for dropper bottles. On hindsight, this one may have worked, but it seems a bit unwieldy:

-I saw Vallejo had some interesting plastic cases, but apparently they -as well as other paint manufacturers- sell those together with a bottle selection. My
FLGS had an apparently empty unit for sale... but priced like it was made of adamantium!

So I took a desperate measure and checked Aliexpress for some Chinese mass produced plastic goodness. After playing with their devilish search function and their crazy translations for a while, I struck gold:

It comes in three sizes for 15, 30 and 60 slots, and the foam slots fit Vallejo bottles nicely. Citadel pots won't fit in the slots (so I cut the foam tray in half... this way, the vallejos go in the slots and the citadels go "loose" in the foamless half.
What do you guys use?
