Anyone have any good pics of a layouts of the plastic zone mortalis kits.. i know it’s a bit pricey but it’s a beautiful modular kit. That I’ve been slowly building. I got the gang stronghold and 2x walls and a stairs and a tile kit.. I want to pick up 2x more walls and 1x stairs and another tile set to make the set higher but i haven’t found many pics online of people who have built this scenery. Mainly looking for inspiration on how to build it.

Instagram is by far the best source for pictures of plastic models (and miniatures) nowadays. For example, quick search with #zonemortalis brings more than 5000 results and #necromunda more than 100k.

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.

I’ve got two sets of it, and it’s solidly modular to the point you don’t need to glue a chosen formation together.

The columns and walls are pretty simple to build, and the top pieces can be left unglued entirely. This is useful, as to stack the pieces you invert the top piece.

What I did was to clip and clean one each of the wall sections and column sections top pieces. These were then used to properly square off each wall and column as I went.

However, some displays probably could do with being made permanent via gluing, especially if you’re mix and matching kits. This is so they remain stable during the game, and a rogue elbow, kitty or particularly vindictive batch of dice don’t send everything topping to the ground!

Ya I’ve been searching for ideas and saw a few but a whole lot of the old fw boards which while okay aren’t quite as awesome as the new plastic set that is amazing for multi levels.

Rapid Tabletop on Instagram is an excellent source of ideas for it and kitbashing with other kits.

He has a YouTube channel now too
